Dragon Nexus Hub — Melbourne’s Art-Deco Esports Arena
Forty RTX-powered battlestations, private console suites, VR bays and a competition stage on Rose Street. Drop in for a casual session or lock in your squad for the next tournament night.

From a back-room LAN to Fitzroy’s gaming landmark
Dragon Nexus Hub grew out of Friday-night LAN parties above a Brunswick Street record store. Today we run one of Melbourne’s most-loved gaming venues, blending 1920s deco craftsmanship with hardware that keeps pace with the pros.
- 2016
The first ten rigs
We opened with ten hand-built PCs and a fold-out snack bar, hosting weekly Counter-Strike ladders for the Fitzroy locals.
- 2018
The Rose Street move
We restored a heritage brick warehouse at 57 Rose Street, adding brass fixtures, a mezzanine and our first dedicated console lounge.
- 2021
The competition stage
A 60-seat arena and shoutcaster booth launched, letting us broadcast state-level Valorant and Rocket League finals.
- 2024
VR bays & coaching
Four free-roam VR bays and a full coaching program opened, welcoming over 9,000 members through the doors last year.

Whether you’re grinding ranked, hosting a birthday, or preparing for a regional final, there’s a station with your name on it.

EventsWhat the Fitzroy gaming community says
Real feedback from members, squads and event organisers who call the Hub home.
“Booked a suite for my brother’s 18th and the staff sorted controllers, snacks and a Mario Kart bracket for us. Six of us barely wanted to leave.”
“The 240Hz rigs finally let me climb to Immortal. Off-peak passes are unbeatable value and the fibre never drops mid-match.”
“We ran our uni esports qualifier on the main stage. Casting setup was pro-level and the crowd seating made the finals electric.”
“Four weeks of coaching cleaned up my Rocket League rotations completely. Coach walked me through VODs I’d never have reviewed alone.”
